Entry for June 15, 2008 ![]() What a great weekend! Warm, sunny and just plain nice! The back bank of lavender is filling out, and its great to see the differrent shades of lavenders. I am quite the fan of Martha Roderick now. Its a very pretty blue, and had an exceptional round shape to it - very much like Melissa another super lavender.
The Herbary was busy this weekend, and it was great to celebrate Father's day with all the dads. Dad (Mike) got a George Foremans Grill and was busy grilling brats - very tasty! I was at Hillsboro Farmers Market this past weekend. It was a sunny fun day, good to see some old friends and making new ones. Sunday I had an OLA meeting (Oregon Lavender Association) meeting over at Barn Owl Nursery. We picked up the new lavender festival handouts - They look amazing! Just a few more weeks til the Lavender Festival. Things are looking good. This evening, I came home and dug eleven post holes for the greenhouse. I ONLY have another fifteen to go... It already looks better :) Heres hoping that you got out and enjoyed your garden today! 2008-06-16 05:46:42 GMT
