Entry for June 17, 2008 ![]() Well it was a good day here at the herbary! Jimmy and I set and put in 22 of the 26 poles for the wall of the greenhouse this evening. I had already dug the holes, so all we had to do was mix the cement and set them. I had done a pretty decent job of getting them about the same depth, so it was relatively easy. The mixing of cement was my job, and Jimmy he set and leveled everything. We got chased away from finishing the corners, as the mosquitos came out in force once the sun went down. So tomorrow we will do them, and then let it sit for a few days. Next will be putting on the bows, and then attaching the 2x4s and 2x6s for the walls. Its coming along nicely!
I finished the gate for the sheep pen up in the orchard. I think Dad and Rob are going to pick up the sheep sometime this week. They are needed as the pasture is getting way too tall. I am almost done securing the chicken run as well. Just need to shore up the gate area. With 18 chickens, and all of t hem special, I just want to make sure they are safe. 2008-06-18 05:14:19 GMT
