We opened the herbary last weekend! The day was, well typical spring here in on the island. One moment it was sunny, the next a downpour. It was great to see some old friends, as well as met some new folks!



I am currently waging a war  against moles. I am losing the battle however :) I spent most of Saturday reseeding the lawn where the moles have made mud trails. It is amazing the trail systems these moles have created. You can see miles (okay  maybe not miles but 100 yards of bumps) out in the fields around the house. There was one good thing about the flood in '96, we didn't have moles for a long time!



Well, I am off to work on the chicken coop - we are getting some new baby chicks wedneday.
