A big red dumptruck dropped off our load of Mulch this afternoon. It filled the area where we park our cars. Hard to believe it won't be enough to do the entire herbary. We had some  help moving a few loads by our neighbor boy, Mikey. He came down with his barrow, shovel and gloves and put in a good day of work.



Mike and Heather have started weeding the beds, and will put the mulch on as the top dressing. They have been turning the soil, mixing last years top dressing into the soil.  Adding a thick layer of mulch helps keep the weeds at bay. It definately makes the soil nicer, and the plants don't need as much water.
